Welcome to the NEW 2026 Edgerton, WI. Take A Vet Fishing Event!

WISCONSIN FISHING LICENSE is needed for all participants. You must provide your own fishing license.

Boat Captains are responsible for providing your own live bait.  

Boats can launch from anywhere on the lake. If you decide to launch elsewhere, you still need to check-in with the TAVF reps at the Anchor Inn to confirm you are safely on the water and you have your Veteran(s) with you.

ALL VETERANS AND GUIDES must check-in at the Anchor Inn before going to their desired boat launch.

Anchor Inn Launch will be open for our event at no charge

Registration/Check-In is at 6am for both Veterans and Guides at the Anchor Inn

Fishing Time is 7:00am – 11:30am. Please be off the water by 12:00pm

Present the Flags, National Anthem, and Prayer at 12:15pm at the Anchor Inn - All families of participating military personnel are welcome to join. Each guest must be registered through the Take a Vet Fishing website at takeavetfishing.org.

Lunch will be served starting at 12:30pm.

The Honor Ceremony will immediately follow lunch.

Conclusion by 3:00pm
