Take A Vet Fishing in Eagle River, WI

All participants must have a current Wisconsin fishing license. You are required to provide your own fishing license.

Guides: Boats can launch anywhere on the Eagle River Chain. Guides can launch anywhere on the lake that they wish but we ask that you transport your Veteran(s) with you. Guides are responsible for providing their own bait.

Check-in: 9am (for all Veterans and Guides)

Socialize at the Hotel: 9:15am is the time for family members to join (only open to those who registered through the website).

Color Guard, National Anthem and Prayer: 9:30am

Breakfast & Honor Ceremony: 9:45am - 11:00am

Fishing Time: 11am - 3:00pm

Conclusion: 3pm

A hotel stay is available for all Veterans who are traveling over 60 miles to attend this event. This hotel stay will be for Friday night (the night before the event only). Please keep in mind that you will need to check-out from the hotel prior to fishing on Saturday morning. Our event does not conclude until 3:00pm, by this time, the hotel would need your items completely out of the rooms.

All hotel rooms must be requested no later than Friday, September 12^th. If you do not request a room by this date, Take A Vet Fishing will not be able to cover the cost of your room.
