Take a Vet Fishing on Mille Lacs Lake

“Fred Knudsen” Launch Boat ONLY Event (NO GUIDE BOATS)!

All participants must have a current Minnesota fishing license. You are required to provide your own fishing license.

This event will be open to local Veterans only for registration.

There are NO PAID hotel rooms (by TAVF) offered for this ONE-DAY fishing event!! - If you would like a hotel room, please call McQuoids directly and book a room with them. 

McQuoids Launch Boats: There will be 2 separate launch boats reserved for Take a Vet Fishing registered participants. There will be a licensed launch boat captain on each launch who are experienced fisherman and will always put your safety first. They will provide fishing advice and teach you some new techniques. Even bait your hook! You are in luck! Each launch boat has a bathroom so you will not need to go far. Also included on the launch boats will be fishing poles and bait. You do not need to wear a life jacket while on the launch but you sure can! There will be chairs available for seating as well.

Take a Vet Fishing will provide a cooler full of ice and bottled non-alcoholic beverages along with a few snacks on each launch boat.

Pancake Breakfast served by the local Fire Department: 8:30am

Fishing Time: 10am-2:00pm

Lunch & Honor Ceremony: 2:30pm - 4:00pm

Conclusion: 4:00pm
