Take a Vet Fishing - Boyne City, MI

A Michigan FISHING LICENSE is needed for all participants. You must provide your own fishing license.

Boats can launch from the Boyne City Municipal Boat Ramp, however EVERYONE (Guides and Veterans) MUST check-in with the TAVF reps at Veterans Memorial Park - the morning of the event!

A "Pickle Bus" will be available all day and FREE to Veterans. We (may) transport Veterans to/from the boat launch - using this bus!

Fishing Time is 7:30 – 11:30am. Please be off the water by 11:30am and BACK to the Veterans Memorial Park BEFORE noon!

Flag Presentation and the National Anthem will begin PROMPTLY at 12:30pm - at the Veterans Memorial Park honoring all of our active and retired US Military Veterans. All families of participating military personnel are welcome to join. When you signup online, we ask how many family members will be attending to help plan for seating and food. Please do not exceed 4 family members. 

Lunch will be served starting at 12:45pm.

Veteran Recognition Tribute will immediately follow lunch at 1:30pm.
