 HOTEL INFORMATION:

A hotel stay is available for all Veterans who are traveling over 60 miles in order to attend this event. This hotel stay will be for Saturday night (the night before the event ONLY). Please keep in mind that you will need to checkout from the hotel prior to fishing on Sunday morning. Our event does not conclude until 3pm, by this time, the hotel would need your items completely out of the rooms.

All hotel rooms must be requested NO LATER than Sunday, April 16th - NO EXCEPTIONS!! If you do not request a room by this date, Take a Vet Fishing will not be able to cover the cost of your room.

 Lunch/Honor Ceremony LOCATION - Fox Lake American Legion Post 703

Check in at the Fox Lake American Legion between 6:30am - 7:30am

Fishing Time: 7:30am - 11:30am

ILLINOIS FISHING LICENSE is needed for all participants. You must provide your own fishing license.

ALL BOATS on the Chain O' Lakes must display a Fox Waterway Agency sticker.

A 1-DAY FOX CHAIN WATERWAY STICKER will be provided by TAVF the day of the event - to any guide who needs one.

Boat Captains are responsible for providing your own live bait. 

Boats can launch at Fox Lake American Legion at no charge - OR -  You may also pay to launch at ANY OTHER boat launch on the Fox Chain.

Registration/Check-In starts at 6:30am for BOTH Veterans and Guides - At the Fox Lake American Legion

Fishing Time is 7:30am – 11:30am. 

Veterans and Guides - PLEASE BE BACK at the Fox Lake American Legion by 12:00 Noon! 

Honor Ceremony starts PROMPTLY at 12:30pm!
