Eagle River Take A Vet Fishing Event - 2022

Wisconsin FISHING LICENSE is needed for all participants. You must provide your own fishing license.
Boats can launch from anywhere on the Eagle River Chain, however EVERYONE (Guides and Veterans) MUST check-in with the TAVF reps at the Eagle River Inn - the morning of the event!
Boat Captains are responsible for providing your own live bait.
Registration/Check-In starts at 6:30am (PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE THIS TIME!) for both Veterans and Guides at the Eagle River Inn.
Fishing Time is 7:30 – 11:30am. Please be off the water by 11:30am and BACK to the Eagle River Inn BEFORE noon!
Flag Presentation and the National Anthem will begin at 12:15 - at the Eagle River Inn honoring all of our active and retired US Military Veterans. All families of participating military personnel are welcome to join. When you signup online, we ask how many family members will be attending to help plan for seating and food. Please do not exceed 4 family members.
Lunch will be served starting at 12:30pm.
Veteran Recognition Tribute (and raffle) will immediately follow lunch at 1:30pm. Each Veteran who participates in the event will be recognized with gifts.

HOTEL INFORMATION: Eagle River Inn
The Hotel stay is available for all Veterans who are traveling over 60 miles in order to attend this event. This hotel stay (paid for by TAVF) will be for Friday night ONLY (the night before the event). If you require a second night hotel, YOU must make that reservation with the Eagle River Inn - and pay for your own room. Please keep in mind that you will need to checkout from the hotel prior to fishing on Saturday. Our event does not conclude until 3:00pm, by this time, the hotel would need your items completely out of the rooms.
***NOTE: TAVF will pay for your hotel room only if you are traveling over 60 miles away from the event.
